A complete authentication system with role and menu management, built on CodeIgniter 3.
1 / 3
Complete Login System is a ready-to-use authentication skeleton built on CodeIgniter 3 and MySQL. Rather than stopping at checking a username and password, it already ships the pieces usually left for later: self-registration, profile editing, and password changes.
What sets it apart is access control. User roles, menus, and submenus live in the database as data rather than being hard-coded. The menu a visitor sees adapts to the role of the account currently signed in, and adding a new module is done through the menu management screens without touching a view file.
Because its structure is neutral about what the application does, the project is used as a starting foundation whenever a new CodeIgniter application needs multiple user roles from day one. The source is open on GitHub.
